Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain observability solutions across various platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify observability requirements.
Develop best practices for monitoring, alerting, and telemetry systems.
Evaluate and recommend observability tools to improve system visibility.
Define and track key performance indicators and service-level objectives.
Assist in troubleshooting complex incidents using observability tools.
Provide guidance and mentorship on observability principles and practices.
Conduct evaluations of observability systems for improvements.
Drive standardization of observability processes across the organization.
Contribute to training materials and documentation for observability systems.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong experience in managing observability solutions in large-scale environments.
Deep knowledge of monitoring and logging systems like Prometheus and Grafana.
Familiarity with distributed tracing technologies such as Jaeger.
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure like AWS or Azure.
Strong understanding of DevOps and SRE practices.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
