Responsibilities
- Lead delivery teams in analyzing requirements, refining stories, designing solutions, implementing software, testing, and supporting production systems.
- Collaborate with users, analysts, developers, and testers using BDD techniques.
- Write clean code, apply test-driven development, and refactor continuously.
- Work across user interfaces, services, and databases as a generalizing specialist.
- Define and evolve component architecture and contribute to department- and bank-wide architectural decisions.
- Ensure software is reliable and easy to support in production, including participation in on-call third-line support.
- Help the team build, test, and release software rapidly with minimal waste.
- Develop and maintain highly automated continuous delivery pipelines.
- Support microservices architecture initiatives and work with cloud and container technologies.
- Promote learning and continuous improvement within the team and broader organization.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of at least one modern programming language and understanding of both object-oriented and functional programming.
- Knowledge of Java is preferred.
- Practical experience with test-driven development, continuous integration, and constant refactoring.
- Understanding of web technologies, frameworks, and tools such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS, Bootstrap, and Node.js.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including Oracle PL/SQL programming experience.
- Experience working in an agile team using Scrum, Kanban, or XP.
- Experience designing and developing projects with microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, Docker, containers, or Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience with functional analysis and automated testing is highly desirable.
- Financial services knowledge, including products, instruments, trade lifecycles, regulation, risk, financial reporting, or accounting, is useful but not essential.
