Responsibilities
- Act as a technical lead for end-to-end product development.
- Build full-stack solutions using microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native technologies.
- Design and deliver scalable, real-time, high-scale applications.
- Ensure quality, performance, security, and other non-functional requirement benchmarks.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams while driving adoption of best practices and new technologies.
- Collaborate with global Product, Business, Architecture, and engineering stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives to improve automation, engineering efficiency, and product quality.
- Drive proofs of concept and technology decisions aligned with business and platform needs.
- Follow Mastercard security policies, protect information confidentiality and integrity, report suspected breaches, and complete mandatory security training.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience as a hands-on technologist.
- Strong object-oriented design and clean coding practices in Java, including SOLID principles.
- Strong expertise in microservices, event-driven architecture, and scalable system design.
- Experience with Spring Boot, cloud platforms, and SAFe delivery models.
- Experience building real-time, high-scale applications.
- Experience with J2EE, Hibernate, JPA, Angular or React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, caching, messaging or event frameworks, PostgreSQL, optimized SQL development, API design, CI/CD, and cloud-native development practices.
- Experience delivering enterprise-grade software.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, stakeholder-management, mentoring, and technical leadership abilities.
