Responsibilities
- Define and own the long-term technical vision for core Lives Covered systems.
- Architect scalable backend systems for high-volume financial transactions.
- Design and evolve durable systems of record ensuring auditability and correctness.
- Standardize complex partner integrations by building reusable platform primitives.
- Lead cross-team initiatives to clarify high-impact technical challenges.
- Instrument financial and integration flows to identify bottlenecks and improve onboarding speed.
- Establish architectural guardrails and documentation standards.
- Mentor senior engineers and elevate architectural rigor across teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience designing and operating scalable backend systems in payments or integrations.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical architecture.
- Strong communication skills across engineering, product, and operations.
- A systems-oriented mindset focused on long-term scalability and reuse.
