Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, launch, refactor, re-architect, deprecate, and implement large-scale cloud-based distributed services.
  • Design and optimize multi-tier systems for inventory placement, routing, replenishment, and supply-chain management.
  • Collaborate with Senior and Principal Engineers, Researchers, and Data Engineers to build a supply-chain optimization platform.
  • Expand supply-chain systems to support emerging business initiatives across Amazon marketplaces.
  • Automate third-party supply-management systems and improve inventory movement across marketplaces.
  • Apply software quality, security, testing, deployment, and operational best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship design or architecture experience involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

  • The stated base salary range is $143,700 to $194,400 annually, with potential sign-on payments and restricted stock units.
