Base Salary
$160k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement the cloud-native backend for managing global optical terminals.
- Build robust data ingestion and processing systems for real-time performance metrics.
- Collaborate with embedded engineers to ensure secure data flow between hardware and cloud.
- Lead the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy for reproducible global deployments.
- Develop tools and dashboards for the Network Operations Center (NOC) to troubleshoot optical links.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 4+ years of experience building and deploying scalable services on GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Strong proficiency in Golang, Typescript, and/or Python.
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and distributed systems architecture.
- Proven track record of designing and maintaining clean, scalable APIs (gRPC, REST).
- Experience with relational databases, NoSQL, and message brokers.
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and IAM roles/policies.
- Ability to work in the Sunnyvale office at least 3 days per week.
