Responsibilities
- Design and build intuitive, easy-to-use platform capabilities for users across the firm.
- Drive implementation of AI-enhanced user interface interactions and workflows.
- Lead and manage technical components while aligning work with business objectives and best practices.
- Develop and maintain high-quality software using Java, Python, Go, or other object-oriented programming languages.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment capabilities.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems and software bugs.
- Collaborate on shared components and codebases.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Conduct code reviews, technical design reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure software quality.
Requirements
- Proven senior full-stack software engineering experience, including strong Python experience or Java experience with willingness to learn Java.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React.js; HTML and CSS experience is desirable.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as OpenShift.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and message queuing systems.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java or Python.
- Strong fundamentals in networking, databases, and command-line interfaces.
- Ability to produce clean, testable, and maintainable code.
- Strong communication, collaboration, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to explain complex technical ideas to senior leadership are desirable.
- Understanding of generative AI capabilities, including system prompts, tool selection, and Model Context Protocol, is desirable.
- Experience or interest in software team management is desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; graduate-level or continuing education is a plus.
