Base Salary
$198k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build tools and applications to extend Calendly’s infrastructure platform.
- Evaluate and deploy cloud native open source tools.
- Exercise expertise in cloud infrastructure concepts and patterns.
- Institute resilient infrastructure through Infrastructure as code.
- Maintain and improve observability of the infrastructure platform.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support the infrastructure platform.
- Foster a collaborative environment of learning and knowledge dissemination.
- Define standard practices and tooling around new services and incidents.
Requirements
- Eagerness and drive to learn, with skills for sharing knowledge and mentoring others.
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working directly with internal customers to understand needs.
- Strong understanding of the Linux operating system.
- Technical knowledge of cloud infrastructure, especially GCP.
- Deep experience designing and running highly-available production infrastructure.
- Strong Golang or Python development experience, especially in writing APIs.
- Solid knowledge of cloud native application design on Kubernetes.
- Robust knowledge of computer networking principles and cloud networking technologies.
- Extensive experience with software and infrastructure monitoring tools.
