Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and support software applications and frameworks.
- Build and document coding standards, best practices, documentation, and robust test suites.
- Provide technical guidance, leadership, mentorship, and support to multiple product delivery teams.
- Own performance within a defined area, lead software projects, and drive technical tool adoption.
- Define technical requirements, develop roadmaps, and prioritize technical debt.
- Troubleshoot complex distributed-system problems and optimize application performance.
- Architect secure and scalable financial systems with encryption, access controls, fraud detection, and regulatory compliance.
- Build and optimize loan-origination workflows and integrate financial platforms, loan origination systems, ERP systems, and servicing systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience.
- Expert experience with Python, distributed systems design or event-driven development, and pyramid testing methodologies.
- Expert experience with build and deployment automation, Git, and distributed-system debugging, profiling, and optimization.
- Experience with AWS, SQL, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, deployment automation, Datadog, CloudWatch Logs, and distributed tracing frameworks.
- Proven experience with loan-origination lifecycle workflows, including application, credit assessment, funding, and portfolio management.
- Hands-on experience integrating financial platforms and maintaining and extending existing codebases.
