Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-enabled software solutions and infrastructure.
- Lead technical projects, functional work streams, and deployments of AI systems.
- Deliver AI applications from initial prototypes through production-grade deployments.
- Improve model serving, data pipelines, products, and processes to meet performance and security requirements.
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders and data science teams.
- Mentor team members and promote software engineering and AI engineering best practices.
- Automate processes and stay current with developments in AI technology.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Python and fluency in another programming language.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP and their associated services.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools including CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or Serverless Framework.
- Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, ECS, or GKE.
- Foundational experience with AI/ML concepts and technologies and interest in developing specialised AI engineering expertise.
- A proven record of delivering high-quality software and advancing engineering best practices.
- Ability to work independently and solve complex problems.
- Preferred experience with Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, LangGraph, Agent-to-Agent communication patterns, GitHub Copilot, Kiro, Cursor, or MCP.
