Responsibilities
- Serve as the regional security expert across Southeast Asia and drive technical excellence, consistency, and best practices across multiple markets.
- Support strategic technical pre-sales opportunities, lead discovery workshops, deliver demonstrations and presentations, and conduct proof-of-concept engagements.
- Design outcome-focused security solutions that address partner and customer objectives.
- Build scalable technical frameworks, assets, playbooks, demonstration environments, and reusable content.
- Mentor and coach Solutions Engineers, support onboarding, and develop regional technical capabilities.
- Collaborate with sales leaders, vendors, marketing, technical specialists, and global technical communities.
- Stay current with emerging cyber threats, cloud security innovations, and industry developments.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, consulting, or related technology environments.
- Strong expertise in cybersecurity, cloud technologies, infrastructure, Microsoft solutions, or adjacent security platforms.
- Demonstrated success delivering workshops, technical presentations, demonstrations, and discovery engagements.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value and compelling narratives.
- Experience influencing stakeholders across multiple functions without direct authority.
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for coaching and developing others.
- Exposure to regional or multi-country environments and experience in channel, partner, or indirect sales ecosystems.
- Microsoft Security, Azure, or equivalent vendor certifications are highly valued.
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Valid right to work in Malaysia is required.
