Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end application and software solution architectures aligned with enterprise architecture principles, reference models, and technology roadmaps.
- Translate enterprise architecture strategy and target-state designs into actionable solutions for programmes and projects.
- Create solution architecture documents, high- and low-level designs, integration diagrams, architecture decision records, and detailed design documents.
- Evaluate technologies and third-party platforms while balancing functionality, cost, scalability, security, maintainability, and delivery timelines.
- Design finance technology solutions across Oracle Financials, Coupa, OneStream, actuarial platforms, and related upstream and downstream systems.
- Provide techno-functional design input for Oracle Financials modules including Accounting Hub, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and related sub-ledgers.
- Design and document REST and SOAP API integrations across ERP, P2P, finance, and third-party systems.
- Identify architectural risks, technical debt, and design gaps, and define mitigation and remediation strategies.
- Ensure solution designs comply with security, data protection, regulatory, and risk management standards.
- Support architecture governance forums and present solution designs to senior stakeholders and architecture peers.
- Produce architecture, process, and integration diagrams using UML and diagramming tools, and prepare stakeholder presentation materials.
- Collaborate with business analysts, engineering, delivery, infrastructure, Finance, and Procurement stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 10–12 years of overall IT experience with a track record in finance techno-functional roles, systems integration, or solution design.
- At least five years of finance-domain solutioning experience involving platforms such as Oracle Financials, performance management systems, or Coupa.
- At least three years of techno-functional experience across Oracle Financials areas including Accounting Hub, Oracle Integration, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and related sub-ledgers.
- Experience designing REST and SOAP API integrations within the Finance domain.
- Experience creating detailed solution, integration, and data design documents.
- Working familiarity with project management principles and structured delivery frameworks.
- At least two years of BFSI experience is advantageous, particularly experience in insurance and actuarial environments.
- Strong PowerPoint, stakeholder management, communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, Oracle Financials, or Azure/GCP Solutions Architect are advantageous.
- Ability to influence without direct authority and balance long-term architecture objectives with short-term delivery needs.
