Responsibilities
- Own quality from requirements and design through release and production for the Module Loader and remote vulnerability detection capabilities.
- Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, scenarios, and maintainable automation for complex enterprise software.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, negative, compatibility, upgrade, end-to-end, performance, scalability, reliability, and resiliency testing.
- Create complex test environments spanning operating systems, services, network configurations, and software versions.
- Analyze logs, network traffic, system behavior, application failures, resource utilization, and diagnostic information to identify root causes.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and distinguish product defects, automation failures, and environmental issues.
- Collaborate with developers, security researchers, Product Management, and engineering teams to reproduce and resolve complex issues.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Software QA, SDET, or Software Testing for complex enterprise software products.
- Strong experience testing system-level, security, networking, or distributed applications, preferably on Linux/Unix platforms.
- Hands-on test automation experience using Python, Shell scripting, C/C++, or equivalent programming or scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems, networking fundamentals, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, proxies, and client-server communication.
- Experience with automation-first testing, reusable test frameworks, CI/CD integration, defect analysis, release qualification, and software testing best practices.
- Ability to investigate failures across application, operating system, and network layers and identify edge cases, environmental dependencies, and regression risks.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, including M.E./M.Tech, B.E./B.Tech, or MCA.
- Desirable experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management or assessment, network security, network scanners, vulnerability scanners, security products, packet analysis, certificates, authentication, cryptography, GDB, complex test environments, containers, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure.
