Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the metering pipeline for accurate billing.
- Deepen Stripe integration for subscription management and invoice handling.
- Build and maintain cloud marketplace integrations with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Ship customer-facing usage dashboards for real-time spending visibility.
- Improve billing alerting to surface anomalies before they escalate.
- Set architectural patterns and design standards for the team.
- Mentor engineers on billing architecture and best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of backend engineering experience with ownership of a billing system.
- Deep hands-on experience with Stripe, including webhooks and subscription management.
- Strong skills in Go or Java, with a focus on maintainable code.
- Experience designing distributed systems at scale.
- A product mindset that understands the impact of billing on customer trust.
- Genuine staff-level ownership and proactive problem identification.
