$90k - $95k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Develop responsive frontend applications and reusable UI components with React.js.
- Use Python for automation scripts, backend services, data processing, and integrations.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable software solutions.
- Design and optimize databases, queries, and data models.
- Integrate applications with third-party services and internal systems.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and documented code.
- Perform unit, integration, and performance testing.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, monitoring, and production releases.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to system architecture decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, React.js, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with Python for application development, scripting, automation, or data processing.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
- Experience writing unit tests and following test-driven or automated testing practices.
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, secure and scalable application development, and software development principles.
- Preferred experience includes microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, CI/CD tools, NoSQL databases, messaging systems, OAuth2, JWT, monitoring and logging tools, Jira, and Confluence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, ownership, accountability, collaboration, and learning skills.
