Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and engineering oversight for Adobe Experience Manager architecture, development, integrations, microsites, digital asset management, and Content-as-a-Service.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into reusable, maintainable templates, components, and services for scalable, secure, and reliable content delivery.
- Establish coding standards, development practices, architectural patterns, code reviews, and technical guidance.
- Automate and optimize WCMS DevOps processes to improve deployment reliability, engineering efficiency, operational consistency, and developer productivity.
- Mentor team members, lead knowledge sharing, and foster engineering ownership, collaboration, and accountability.
- Maintain technical documentation, system designs, and operational runbooks supporting reliability, high availability, production support, and institutional knowledge.
- Provide operational support and targeted enhancements for OpenText Web CMS, WordPress, and other WCMS platforms.
- Handle special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Requirements
- Master's degree in computer science plus three years of progressively responsible IT experience, including at least 18 months in an administrative, managerial, executive, or supervisory capacity.
- Alternatively, a bachelor's degree plus four years of progressively responsible IT experience, including the required 18 months of administrative, managerial, executive, or supervisory experience.
- Alternatively, a four-year high school diploma or equivalent plus six years of progressively responsible IT experience, including the required 18 months of administrative, managerial, executive, or supervisory experience.
- All candidates must have at least a four-year high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of relevant IT experience, including 18 months of administrative, managerial, executive, or supervisory experience.
- A satisfactory combination of education and experience may qualify; undergraduate or graduate credits may substitute for limited IT experience but not for the required 18 months of administrative, managerial, executive, or supervisory experience.
- Applicants must meet the stated civil service eligibility requirements, including permanent employees in the title or candidates reachable on the current civil service list.
