Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate end-to-end integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems in cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
- Build modular, reusable, and maintainable integration flows using routing, splitting, gathering, message mapping, and transformation patterns.
- Use Groovy scripting, persistence patterns, retries, correlation, and resilience techniques for advanced flow control.
- Design secure APIs and integrate third-party applications through connectors, messaging, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Build AI-native integration agents for iFlow generation, mapping recommendations, retrieval-grounded assistance, anomaly detection, predictive operations, and conversational troubleshooting.
- Create automated integration testing, payload regression, replay testing, API verification, and AI evaluation harnesses with release gates.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, traceability, structured logging, message tracing, and failure-mode analysis for integrations and APIs.
- Apply integration advisory, governance, standardization, migration, and maturity-enablement practices across teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Strong hands-on expertise with SAP BTP Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration, iFlows, transformation patterns, and monitoring.
- Experience implementing message mappings, routing patterns, and transformations across JSON, XML, CSV, and other enterprise formats.
- Practical scripting capability, such as Groovy, for integration customization and performance tuning.
- Solid API design and management fundamentals, including security, throttling, versioning, lifecycle management, and observability.
- Capability to build tool-augmented, retrieval-grounded, measurable, and safely bounded AI-native workflows.
- Knowledge of event-driven integration, enterprise messaging, connector-based SaaS integrations, legacy-platform migration, and integration governance is strongly beneficial.
