Base Salary
$165k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and development of embedded firmware for IoT connectivity modules.
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to validation.
- Implement best practices in embedded software development, including code reviews and CI/CD.
- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for firmware development initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure end-to-end system functionality.
- Manage relationships with third-party partners related to firmware development.
- Ensure high-quality firmware delivery within timelines and budget constraints.
- Manage project priorities, resources, and timelines effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in embedded software and firmware development, with leadership experience.
- Experience guiding a product through the full development lifecycle from concept to production.
- Deep expertise in designing IoT connectivity modules, including Bluetooth and BLE.
- Strong proficiency with audio products and their interconnectivity to mobile devices.
- Working knowledge of programming Digital Signal Processors (DSPs) for audio processing.
- Mastery of C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and standard communication protocols.
