Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and implement ServiceNow application modules, workflows, catalog requests, and custom applications.
- Define ServiceNow data tables, user interfaces, business logic, workflows, policies, actions, and platform configurations.
- Build integrations with third-party applications using REST and SOAP web services and test them with SOAP UI or similar tools.
- Manage multiple ServiceNow instances, major releases, patches, SDLC release processes, and code deployments.
- Customize and roll out ServiceNow applications and modules, including ITSM, CSM, Service Portal, Asset Management, Change Management, and CMDB functionality.
- Troubleshoot production issues involving custom applications, system integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms.
- Maintain consistent and reliable development, staging, testing, sandbox, and production environments.
- Provide ongoing production and end-user support, estimate work effort, and recommend application and integration tools.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience coding, testing, and implementing ServiceNow as a technical resource.
- Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow development platform, including ITSM, Contract Management, Resource Management, ITFM, CMDB, Asset Management, Change Management, custom development, Service Portal, and CSM.
- Experience developing ServiceNow workflows, Business Rules, ACLs, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Data Policies, UI Actions, and table extensions.
- Experience with ServiceNow widgets, client-side and server-side scripting, application UI configuration, and ServiceNow UI design and development.
- Experience with ServiceNow version upgrades, release management, patches, instance administration, and SDLC processes.
- Experience developing with HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
- Proficiency with SOAP UI or comparable tools for testing SOAP and REST web service APIs.
- Strong understanding of enterprise integration architecture and enterprise applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- ServiceNow administration certification is suggested; ServiceNow micro-certifications, Implementation Specialist certification, and Application Developer certification are advantageous.
