Base Salary

$170k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own applied AI work end-to-end, from data exploration to production integration.
  • Develop models and algorithms that convert sports data into structured insights.
  • Build models for event detection, likelihood estimation, and automation of play-by-play collection.
  • Work with multimodal sports data, including video, audio, and structured feeds.
  • Define metrics and benchmarks to measure AI system quality.
  • Train and integrate ML models and AI components into production workflows.
  • Design workflows that improve model evaluation and output quality.
  • Collaborate with CV engineers on training pipelines and model deployment.
  • Partner with various teams to integrate AI outputs into real-time products.
  • Mentor junior teammates and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building production ML, CV, or AI systems.
  • Ability to translate sports product goals into concrete ML tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with dataset construction, model training, and deployment.
  • Strong modeling judgment across deep learning and classical ML.
  • Experience with predictive modeling and communicating results to stakeholders.
  • Ability to evaluate AI system quality and handle real-world product tradeoffs.
  • Strong production engineering fundamentals, including testing and reliability.
  • Interest in LLMs and agentic AI systems.
  • Comfortable in fast-moving, iterative environments.
