Base Salary
$275k - $330k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive the technical vision for new agentic products and platform growth.
- Lead the transition from traditional data pipelines to event-driven, agentic systems handling tens of millions of unstructured documents.
- Bridge platform and product engineering by guiding development of generalized, high-utility tools.
- Use AI and agentic tools to accelerate the software development lifecycle from testing through deployment.
- Partner with the CTO and EVP of Product and Technology to align technical strategy with business outcomes.
- Solve complex technical bottlenecks and improve software engineering rigor across the organization.
- Develop pragmatic designs with options and trade-offs and lead iterative implementation from 1 to 10.
Requirements
- Deep software engineering foundation with experience serving as a pragmatic technical architect.
- Experience scaling organizations or systems from 1 to 10 while balancing startup speed with enterprise reliability.
- Understanding of the agentic landscape, including embeddings, RAG, and retrieval.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and write or contribute to PRDs.
- Ability to communicate complex technical trade-offs to engineers, executives, and other stakeholders.
- Product-minded approach with the judgment to prioritize practical, iterative solutions over unnecessary rewrites.
