Responsibilities
- Own technical diagnosis, prescription, and validation during the sales cycle and advise customers consultatively.
- Partner with account executives, Solution Architects, and other functions to tailor Workato’s platform and architecture to customer needs and advance technical sales stages.
- Work with Customer Success to help make customer solutions successful.
- Explain business, technical, and architectural concepts to business and technical audiences.
- Create and deliver custom product demonstrations.
- Conduct business and technical discovery and architect or build proposed solutions using Workato products.
- Manage and execute technical workshops and proofs of concept on-site or remotely.
- Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs and RFPs.
- Collect, synthesize, and channel field feedback to Product Management and Engineering for roadmap development.
- Represent Workato products to customers and at conferences, seminars, and other field events.
Requirements
- BA/BS or equivalent education, preferably in Computer Science.
- Good presales experience in a SaaS or iPaaS organization.
- Hands-on experience with automation technologies, middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services technologies, enterprise messaging patterns, APIs, and databases.
- Experience with iPaaS, SaaS applications, and cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to learn new concepts, work through problems, lead architectural discussions, and collaborate effectively.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with technical and business audiences.
- Ability to travel as needed and work flexible hours throughout the sales territory.
