Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of ServiceNow ITOM solutions covering Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Management.
- Define scalable CMDB architectures, governance frameworks, data models, and CSDM-aligned strategies.
- Develop event correlation, observability, AIOps, cloud discovery, and monitoring integrations.
- Design integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and third-party monitoring tools.
- Lead Discovery implementations, including MID Server setup, credential management, and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development and implementation teams.
- Gather stakeholder requirements and convert them into technical and architectural specifications.
- Drive platform best practices, governance, security, performance tuning, scalability, upgrades, DevOps, and Agile delivery practices.
- Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and architecture governance activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Approximately 8–12 years of IT experience with significant exposure to ServiceNow ITOM.
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect or Lead on ServiceNow ITOM implementations.
- Strong expertise in ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB, and Cloud Management.
- Deep understanding of CMDB data modeling, the CSDM framework, and data governance.
- Experience with AIOps, event correlation, monitoring tool integrations, and multi-cloud environments.
- Knowledge of infrastructure technologies, servers, networks, AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Strong JavaScript, Glide scripting, and ServiceNow platform development skills.
- Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and IntegrationHub.
- ServiceNow CSA certification is mandatory.
- ServiceNow CIS certification in Discovery or Service Mapping is mandatory.
- ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of current ServiceNow releases and features is preferred.
