Responsibilities
- Engage customer subject matter experts in workshops to elicit business requirements and solution objectives.
- Translate business requirements into working software solutions using DXC Assure/Xuber products and configuration tools.
- Configure rating algorithms, referral processing, underwriting, claims, business rules, workflows, database artifacts, reference data, products, reports, documents, and data-extraction functionality.
- Collaborate with clients and DXC project teams to deliver agreed solutions.
- Perform software configuration, solution testing, validation, and issue resolution.
- Demonstrate DXC Assure/Xuber solutions in new client engagements.
- Participate in internal quality reviews and prepare functional and technical solution documentation.
- Provide input to project estimates and help transition completed projects into support.
Requirements
- Insurance domain expertise, preferably including Lloyds and Company market operations such as Broker, Carrier, Syndicate, and MGA environments.
- Knowledge of insurance systems covering underwriting, claims, accounts, and reinsurance.
- Experience configuring web-based policy administration or claims systems.
- Strong SQL skills, including constructing queries, views, triggers, and stored procedures.
- Knowledge of on-premise and cloud-based solutions and SOAP and REST APIs.
- Understanding of the full project lifecycle, process mapping, data-flow diagrams, and entity-relationship mapping.
- Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall delivery approaches.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, documentation, attention-to-detail, and deadline-management skills.
- Experience or knowledge configuring DXC Assure/Xuber products and delivering cloud-based managed-service solutions is desirable.
- Knowledge of XML, XSLT, and JSON is desirable.
- Willingness to travel when required and work flexible hours with colleagues in different time zones.
