Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and execute software tests against feature acceptance criteria.
  • Create acceptance criteria from business requirements and user stories in collaboration with technical and delivery leadership.
  • Develop project and product test plans and quality assurance strategies.
  • Design tests, identify quality risks, and determine whether implementations meet customer intent.
  • Configure and improve the Quality Management System and contribute to quality policies, procedures, and performance tools.
  • Provide training, communicate quality standards and procedures, and coordinate quality activities across site and project teams.
  • Perform statistical analysis, report system performance and developments, and provide project-level quality snapshots.
  • Provide technical support during software installation, configuration, integration, and testing.
  • Travel to Norway, Europe, the United States, and Malaysia to align, train, and support QA efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferably specializing in Computer Science, Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
  • Minimum five years of experience in the field.
  • Experience with software quality assurance within hardware systems and with software and system development.
  • Experience with testing and verification tools, software specification, detailed design, qualification, testing, and maintenance.
  • Experience resolving complex product and system issues and defining products and tests from customer requirements, codes, standards, and company requirements.
  • Experience with at least one scripting language, such as Python.
  • Experience with source control such as Git and CI/CD tooling.
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools, QA strategy, and hands-on manual testing.
  • Experience using Jira for Agile project management.
  • Basic knowledge of networking, including Ethernet and TCP/IP.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies and international software quality processes.
  • Very good written and spoken English at B2/C1 level.
