Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, implement, test, debug, ship, and support complete feature areas and large-scale identity protection solutions.
  • Build resilient detection and blocking systems for signup, bot, phishing, spam, fraud, and telecom attacks.
  • Write clean, performant, scalable, reusable, durable, and maintainable code.
  • Monitor production reliability, detect issues early, and participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Organize and implement appropriate test coverage and resolve problem areas.
  • Use customer feedback, business requirements, and metrics to prioritize work and measure success.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, partners, mentors, and leaders on end-to-end customer experiences.
  • Contribute to hiring and an inclusive team culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field.
  • Software engineering experience coding in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, or Python.
  • Strong industry experience designing, developing, testing, and shipping solutions to large-scale technical problems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design, coding patterns, and testing practices.
  • Ability to work through ambiguity, balance competing priorities, and select appropriate technical solutions.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.

Benefits

  • The typical base pay range is €63,400.00–€105,700.00 per year.
  • Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
  • The position is based in Ireland and requires passing background and Microsoft Cloud background checks upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
