Base Salary

$100k - $210k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead application feature development and translate requirements into scalable, maintainable, and performant code plans.
  • Design and implement software solutions, APIs, integrations, architecture, performance improvements, and scalability strategies.
  • Debug and resolve complex application, service, integration, and customer-reported issues in production environments.
  • Lead code reviews, testing, quality assurance, error logging, monitoring, observability, maintenance, and patching activities.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, mentorship, and architectural oversight to engineers and developers.
  • Collaborate with customers, product managers, designers, QA, engineering teams, and stakeholders to align application solutions with business needs.
  • Coordinate moderately complex projects and initiatives, monitor timelines and deliverables, and prioritize work across projects.
  • Participate in candidate interviews, assess candidates, and provide hiring recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field involving coding, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of total software development experience, including building scalable solutions and web applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to write production-quality code using Java, GoLang, C#, or similar object-oriented languages.
  • Experience delivering products across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with large-scale, highly distributed services infrastructure and mission-critical tier-one production operations.
  • Experience designing architectures for high availability, scalability, flexibility, and future business demands.
  • Preferred experience as a technical lead for large-scale applications and systems.
  • Preferred hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as OCI, AWS, or Azure, and experience with Kubernetes.
  • Preferred knowledge of Infrastructure as Code languages, particularly Terraform, and strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge.
  • Preferred knowledge of computer networking, Linux internals, Linux/Unix troubleshooting, host virtualization, KVM, containers, and Docker.
  • Strong communication, ownership, systematic problem-solving, technical writing, mentorship, and talent-development skills.

  • The position is a U.S.-based role with a stated annual hiring range of $99,600 to $209,500, plus potential bonus and equity; applications are generally accepted for at least three calendar days or while the role remains posted.
