Responsibilities
- Engineer custom browser internals and defeat fingerprinting and antibot detection.
- Extend stealth capabilities across new browser engines and mobile profiles.
- Build an automation client to run and control browsers at scale.
- Create introspection and tracing tools for rapid ban investigation.
- Harden the browser release pipeline and prevent silent success-rate declines.
- Improve browser performance to match leading headless and cloud browser platforms.
- Help shape the technical roadmap and contribute to open-source browser development.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with C++ and TypeScript.
- Previous contributions to the source code of an open-source browser such as Chromium, WebKit, or Firefox.
- Good understanding of Web APIs including canvas, audio, WebGL, and WebRTC.
- Deep operating-system knowledge and familiarity with emulation and virtualization.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, and SOCKS protocols.
- Understanding of containerization concepts and tools including Docker, containerd, runc, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Rust and production application development and deployment.
- Understanding of browser fingerprinting approaches.
- Preferred experience includes browser-project core committer status, Puppeteer, Playwright, Chrome DevTools Protocol, CDP-based automation clients, WebAssembly, mobile browser stacks, and QEMU, WSL, Wine, or VirtualBox.
