Responsibilities
- Support primary sellers in building customer relationships and providing technical credibility.
- Gather solution requirements and demonstrate implementation best practices in pre-sales customer engagements.
- Deliver software product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers and prospects.
- Design configurations based on customer requirements and existing IT systems.
- Test and integrate software products in customer environments.
- Provide pre-sales subject matter expertise to sales teams and support qualified opportunities.
- Partner with account teams and account executives to demonstrate solution value and develop new perspectives on existing solutions.
- Support handoff to software customer success teams to encourage adoption.
- Follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and applicable physical and digital security practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in software engineering or a related field.
- At least 6 years of related experience.
- Relevant technical capabilities in software engineering and design architecture.
- Deep knowledge and experience with assigned specialty software products and services.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
- Business acumen and understanding of business sales processes.
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English.
