Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance large-scale software solutions.
- Lead the design and implementation of production recommendation systems for retrieval, prediction, ranking, and embedding.
- Optimize ML infrastructure and guide model architecture development.
- Provide technical leadership, manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Facilitate alignment across teams and influence and coach a distributed team of engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- 5 years of experience building and deploying recommendation system models in production and building architecture across different modeling domains.
- 5 years of experience with ML design and ML infrastructure, including model deployment, evaluation, data processing, debugging, and fine-tuning.
- Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: 3 years of experience in complex, matrixed, cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
