Base Salary
$143k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with ML researchers, system engineers, and production engineers.
- Engage with partners to understand and evaluate performance and quality for state-of-the-art large language models at different scales.
- Build software tools for validation and exploration of LLM optimization technologies.
- Develop model scripts and/or kernels using languages and technologies such as Python, C, C++, and CUDA.
- Identify requirements, scope solutions, estimate work, and schedule deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: master’s degree and 8+ years of technical engineering experience, or bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: experience training or serving deep neural network models.
- Preferred: experience with language models and machine learning system optimization.
