$168k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Apply trading domain knowledge, financial quantitative expertise, and technical skills to create solutions at the intersection of design, strategy, and engineering.
- Participate in the full software development process, including requirements and design reviews, as the platform expands across asset classes.
- Shape and optimize a technology stack using AWS back-end services for robust, scalable applications.
- Build developer-focused automation that supports scalable, high-quality enterprise applications.
- Advocate pragmatic design and development best practices.
- Coach, mentor, and inspire product engineering teams delivering high-performing, secure enterprise applications.
- Own complex problems, develop solutions, and communicate clearly in a collaborative learning environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience with a history of architecting and designing new products and technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of Java or Kotlin and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline.
- Experience applying design patterns and OOAD/SOLID principles and writing automated unit tests.
- Ability to navigate complex codebases, adopt new technologies, solve technical challenges, and communicate effectively.
- Bonus: experience engineering buy-side order management systems, knowledge of complex financial instruments and their valuations, or a mathematics background.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
