Base Salary
$150k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design production-grade pipelines and systems.
- Write and deploy production-grade code daily.
- Contribute to automated tests and end-to-end software delivery.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead end-to-end projects.
- Evaluate and identify appropriate technologies to solve problems.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for production deployments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years as a Senior Engineer owning data production platforms.
- Strong software development experience with building and fixing applications.
- Experience with real-time data processing and data management.
- Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language, preferably Python.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience with source control systems, preferably git.
- Experience with containerization or virtualization systems, preferably Docker.
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud providers, preferably AWS.
- Debugging experience.
