Responsibilities
- Own feature and product quality for complex software products.
- Develop, execute, and automate test plans covering all aspects of quality assurance.
- Review project requirements and documentation to ensure product testability.
- Submit accurate defects with customer impact and investigation details.
- Support project risk analysis, testing scope definition, and scheduling.
- Assist with customer issue investigations.
- Conduct code reviews for team members.
- Write scripts and applications to generate test data and emulate scenarios.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver carrier-grade products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in large-scale integration environments.
- Experience developing or testing software in cloud and virtualization environments.
- Excellent Python coding skills.
- Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, Layer 7 applications, LAN/WAN communication protocols, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Familiarity with networking tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump.
- Experience working in a Linux development environment.
- Experience with continuous integration concepts, tools such as Git, and related best practices.
- Telecom or data-networking experience is preferred.
- Good communication skills.
