Base Salary
$170k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement infrastructure to support high-performance, low-latency inference service.
- Deploy and configure Kubernetes services for scalability and reliability.
- Optimize resource allocation and auto-scaling policies for inference workloads.
- Integrate inference services with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ensure high availability and fault tolerance with multi-region deployments.
- Develop Python-based scripts and APIs for data preprocessing and inference tasks.
- Collaborate with machine learning engineers to validate inference accuracy.
- Triage and resolve defects by analyzing logs and metrics.
- Debug issues related to model deployment and container orchestration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address performance regressions.
- Develop automated scripts to improve system reliability.
- Author detailed technical documentation for infrastructure and workflows.
- Work with product management to define requirements for inference service interfaces.
- Document and track defects and enhancements using tools like Jira and Git.
- Participate in release planning and prioritization discussions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in software development or related roles.
- Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Java or C++.
- Familiarity with ActiveMQ and Kafka.
- Knowledge of Python or Groovy.
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Proficient in Linux.
- Familiarity with SQL, OracleDB, and Redis.
- Experience with Git.
