Base Salary
$143k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship reliable, production-ready systems and services for customer and business needs.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into problem statements, success metrics, technical solutions, and architectural approaches.
- Own end-to-end system design for cloud and AI workloads, balancing reliability, performance, cost, and maintainability.
- Apply secure coding, threat modeling, privacy, compliance, automated testing, observability, and progressive delivery practices.
- Work directly with customer engineering teams to deliver solutions, remove blockers, and drive adoption at scale.
- Build reusable solution accelerators, reference architectures, and code for use across customers and scenarios.
- Coordinate multiple delivery workstreams, manage dependencies, and improve reliability and operational excellence.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineers and collaborate with product, data, and security partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree and 8+ years of experience, or a bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing, deploying, and operating AI or LLM-based solutions, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented approaches, model tuning, evaluation, data quality, and performance monitoring.
- Experience deploying and operating AI systems in production environments.
- Experience using cloud AI platforms such as Azure ML or OpenAI.
- Comfort with travel of up to 25%.

- The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $142,800-$274,800 per year; different ranges apply to specified San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area locations.
- The role may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
