Responsibilities
- Provide architectural and technical support to major retail and consumer goods customers.
- Build and own relationships with senior customer leaders as a trusted technical advisor.
- Identify technical opportunities that support customer business objectives.
- Design customer solutions and advise on trade-offs involving extensibility, flexibility, scalability, and maintainability.
- Define long-term milestones for customers’ existing and new business initiatives.
- Deliver technical information through seminars, hands-on sessions, workshops, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Create reusable reference designs and artifacts for other Solutions Architects.
- Own root-cause resolution for complex customer and internal problems.
- Collaborate with AWS service development teams to improve the AWS platform based on customer feedback.
- Work with regional and global technical communities to capture, share, and maintain industry solutions.
Requirements
- Business English skills in verbal and written communication.
- Experience as a technical specialist in design and architecture.
- Experience with external or internal customer-facing complex and large-scale project management.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions such as AWS or equivalent, as well as systems, networks, and operating systems.
- Experience working with or evaluating AI systems.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Preferred experience working with end-user or developer communities.
- Preferred experience in a high-tech environment.
- Preferred experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Preferred experience using AWS cloud solutions in a DevOps environment.
- Preferred experience delivering customer-facing business presentations covering business and technical aspects or equivalent.
