Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end AI architectures, solution architectures, integration designs, and data flows that fit clients’ existing IT and data landscapes.
- Select and connect models, RAG, agents, APIs, data platforms, and cloud platforms while considering feasibility, security, scalability, cost, and manageability.
- Define production-readiness requirements for security, privacy, performance, observability, governance, operations, and Responsible AI.
- Guide realization by collaborating with enterprise architects, security specialists, and engineers and reviewing technical decisions.
- Document architecture decisions, integration designs, security diagrams, and data-flow diagrams for long-term maintainability.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with data, software, cloud, or AI solutions and taking multiple complex systems from design into production.
- Experience with solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or technical leadership and the ability to maintain end-to-end coherence.
- Understanding of modern AI architectures and production contexts, including LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, APIs, data platforms, and cloud platforms.
- Ability to explain complex trade-offs and influence engineers and senior client stakeholders.
- Strong English communication skills; Dutch is required for some public-sector assignments.
- HBO or university-level education in a technical field, or an equivalent level developed through experience.
- Experience in regulated environments, EU AI Act and model risk management, on-premise or hybrid deployments, AI FinOps, reference architectures, or relevant certifications is advantageous.
