Responsibilities
- Lead discovery conversations and workshops to translate client ambitions into data and AI use cases and solution directions.
- Create solution outlines, high-level designs and technology-stack proposals, including assumptions, dependencies and non-functional requirements.
- Estimate scope, roles, phasing, effort, planning, costs and technical risks, and assess whether commercial assumptions are realistic.
- Collaborate with bid managers, partners and account teams on RFPs, RFIs, tenders and proposals.
- Explain technical solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Transfer architectural choices, risks and assumptions to the AI Architect and Engineering Lead and remain involved during delivery start-up.
Requirements
- Have extensive experience with data, cloud, software or AI solutions in a consulting, enterprise or technology environment.
- Have experience with pre-sales and solution shaping, such as proposal development, bid support, technical customer advisory or RFP and RFI work.
- Be able to translate architecture into deliverable scope, assumptions, phasing, effort, costs and risks.
- Combine technical depth with commercial understanding and delivery awareness.
- Have experience designing and explaining modern data and AI architectures at a high level.
- Have strong knowledge of at least one cloud platform, typically Azure.
- Communicate effectively with customers, engineers, bid teams and senior stakeholders under time pressure.
- Have higher professional or academic level in a technical, scientific or business field, or an equivalent level developed through experience.
- Communicate strongly in English and, for many clients, write and present in Dutch.
- Experience with European tenders, public procurement, GenAI cost modelling, governance and compliance, reusable proposal assets or reference architectures is a differentiator.
