Base Salary

$204k - $284k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Reverse-engineer complex software and firmware targets across Windows, Linux, embedded systems, non-traditional architectures, and operating systems.
  • Develop and apply automated reverse-engineering and binary-analysis tools to characterize protocols, interfaces, and functionality.
  • Research vulnerabilities and perform vulnerability weaponization, exploit development, payload development, and exploit mitigation.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams working on advanced reverse-engineering and exploitation programs.
  • Develop innovative cybersecurity solutions for real-world national-security problems.
  • Contribute to technical marketing, technical proposal development, research documentation, demonstrations, and presentations.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship required by the U.S. Government.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field plus a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience; an MS or PhD with equivalent work experience may also be considered.
  • Substantial experience leading technical teams on advanced reverse-engineering and exploitation programs.
  • Experience with binary analysis of software and firmware, disassembly tools, vulnerability research, and vulnerability analysis.
  • Proficiency in multiple assembly languages, including x86 and ARM.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including C/C++ and Python.
  • Deep understanding of reverse-engineering fundamentals and knowledge of weaponizing vulnerabilities into exploits.
  • Preferred experience includes implant or software patch development, binary emulation, vulnerability research, QEMU, AFL++, DSP architectures, operating-system internals, embedded systems, firmware analysis, custom emulation tools, disassembler/decompiler development, code and data-flow reconstruction, automated software-analysis tools, debugging without source code, binary formats, protocol analysis, anti-reverse-engineering techniques, and intrusion-detection or anti-malware systems.
