Responsibilities
- Lead or support development of radar and electronic warfare systems using digital signal processing.
- Architect, design, and implement real-time embedded software for deployable multifunction systems.
- Develop system requirements and specifications with cross-functional teams.
- Research and lead new embedded software implementations and contribute to technical and product roadmaps.
- Design and implement signal-processing and software solutions.
- Analyze performance through simulations and real-world testing to validate and optimize system performance.
- Prepare design specifications, documentation, test plans, reports, and technical briefings.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, participate in technical reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Active SECRET security clearance and eligibility to obtain a Top Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship is required by the U.S. Government.
- Demonstrated expertise implementing real-time signal-processing solutions in C++17 or later and knowledge of digital signal processing.
- Experience with radar systems, including design, development, requirements verification, test planning, test execution, and data analysis.
- Experience implementing algorithms in real-time software, particularly for radar or remote sensing.
- Experience with Xilinx MPSoC and/or RFSoC platforms.
- Experience preparing and delivering briefings and familiarity with SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, and TIMs.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of applicable experience, Master’s degree and at least 5 years, or PhD and at least 2 years; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Preferred qualifications include CUDA experience, MATLAB radar simulation expertise, an active Top Secret clearance, target-detection knowledge, and experience in electronic warfare, antenna apertures, sensor resource management, large-scale platform test systems, cyber-physical systems, or open system architectures such as UCI, OMS, and COARPS.
