Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy multi-agent AI systems using agentic frameworks to automate software engineering workflows.
- Integrate GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, and other LLMs with internal developer tools through APIs.
- Develop secure agent tools that interact with source repositories, CI/CD pipelines, Jira, and project management systems using sandboxing and least privilege.
- Build NLP pipelines that convert product requirement documents into sprint-ready Jira stories through the Jira API.
- Create AI-assisted coding, UX, frontend generation, backend scaffolding, unit testing, and pull request review workflows.
- Automate approved-code promotion and deployment to pre-production environments in partnership with Technical Operations.
- Design AI automations that support asynchronous handoffs and continuous delivery across US, India, and other global engineering teams.
- Implement guardrails and compliance checks for FedRAMP, SOC 2 Type 2, and ISO 27001 requirements.
- Automate metadata tagging for Jira tickets and GitHub pull requests to distinguish R&D CapEx from operational OpEx work.
- Design human-in-the-loop systems that let engineers supervise, guide, and approve coordinated AI-agent workflows.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong backend development and SRE/DevOps experience.
- Strong background in Java, Python, Go, or Node.js.
- Experience building LLM applications and using agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, or Vertex.
- Deep experience with REST or GraphQL APIs and enterprise developer tools including Jira, GitHub or GitLab, Figma, and CI/CD platforms.
- Experience with deployment automation, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation, and Kubernetes-based container orchestration in multi-cloud environments.
- Demonstrated success building internal developer tools and collaborating across multi-geography engineering teams, specifically US and India, including asynchronous workflows.
- Practical experience integrating security scanning and FedRAMP or SOC 2 compliance checks into automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to translate high-level process-improvement requirements into robust, fault-tolerant engineering automations.
