Responsibilities
- Design and own core AI Gateway components for secure, observable, low-latency AI traffic.
- Implement prompt engineering, caching, and observability features using Golang and/or Python.
- Architect integrations with Large Language Models and AI platforms.
- Influence the technical roadmap, address technical debt, and ensure long-term scalability.
- Drive development from ideation and design through deployment and operation in Kubernetes.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Extensive backend development experience, preferably with Golang and/or Python.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design principles.
- Experience designing and operating cloud-native services using Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with API gateways, service mesh, or related infrastructure technologies.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
- Preferred experience with AI/ML infrastructure, LLMs, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
- Preferred contributions to open-source projects and experience optimizing high-throughput systems.
- Knowledge of Lua or OpenResty is a bonus.
