Responsibilities
- Partner with account executives to design client solutions across pre-sales, solution design, and implementation.
- Develop proof-of-concept applications on Airwallex and deliver technical demonstrations.
- Troubleshoot client integration issues and promote best-practice developer experiences.
- Provide product teams with strategic feedback to reduce implementation friction and accelerate time to go-live.
- Own technical deliverables across the end-to-end project delivery lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with strong academic achievement.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar customer-facing engineering role, such as solutions consultant, solutions architect, sales engineer, or IT consultant.
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort collaborating with customers, partners, and engineering teams.
- Knowledge of at least one major programming language, including PHP, Ruby, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs into web applications.
- Payments or financial-services knowledge is preferred.
- Experience integrating accounting platforms such as Xero, NetSuite, Fusion Cloud, or QuickBooks is preferred.
- Strong executive engagement, relationship-building, organizational, independent decision-making, and strategic problem-solving skills are preferred.
