Responsibilities
- Develop and implement application enhancements using CA-Plex, RPG, and C++ generated code.
- Perform root cause analysis, problem management, and service request fulfillment.
- Provide L2/L3 production support, incident resolution, and break-fix support for AS400 applications.
- Support deployments, operational controls, reporting, reconciliation, and system integrity checks.
- Collaborate with business users, infrastructure teams, and third-party vendors.
- Support change management, compliance controls, and disaster recovery processes.
Requirements
- 7–8 years of AS400 application development and support experience.
- Strong expertise in CA-Plex, RPG/RPGLE, C++, DB2/400, and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with production support, incident management, and release deployments.
- Knowledge of change management, compliance controls, and disaster recovery processes.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
