Responsibilities
- Own and contribute to the architecture and development of enterprise Java applications.
- Provide technical guidance on design and implementation across distributed teams.
- Develop client- and server-side applications and evolve legacy forensic systems.
- Design and optimize backend services, data models, integrations, and high-performance processing logic.
- Define modular software architectures and contribute to technical concept design and implementation.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated build, deployment, and release processes.
- Manage containerized environments and support performance profiling, JVM tuning, production stability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, architecture, business, and IT stakeholders.
- Support team mobilization, onboarding, training, and knowledge transfer across delivery centers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Extensive experience of 10+ years in enterprise Java development and DevOps practices.
- Proven experience in software architecture and hands-on development.
- Experience with Java, Java EE/Jakarta EE, Eclipse RCP, SWT, JFace, PostgreSQL, and WildFly Application Server.
- Experience with JPA/Hibernate, JPQL/CriteriaBuilder, Git-based workflows, Azure DevOps, Docker, Maven, and Eclipse Tycho.
- Knowledge of enterprise software architecture, object-oriented development, Clean Code, design patterns, application modularization, and legacy system evolution.
- Experience working with distributed delivery teams and strong English communication skills.
- Experience in regulated or complex operational environments such as forensics or LIMS is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical reasoning, attention to detail, flexibility, self-motivation, and teamwork skills.
