Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot client-onboarding pipelines within the Azure platform.
- Align client requirements with PaaS capabilities and identify, define, and scope new features when needed.
- Administer and troubleshoot Oracle Database environments, including performance tuning, SQL tuning, monitoring, alerting, reporting, and capacity planning.
- Drive deployment automation through Infrastructure-as-Code and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Provide weekend support, maintain platform availability, and handle incidents and service requests within SLA.
- Lead design workshops with clients, vendors, and stakeholders in onsite and virtual settings.
- Perform configuration management and disaster recovery tasks in new environments.
- Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to sprint-based Agile onboarding programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- 7–10 years of operational experience troubleshooting mission-critical software systems.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database architecture, administration, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, performance tuning, and SQL tuning, particularly Oracle Database 19c.
- Experience supporting applications on Oracle and generating or scheduling OEM reports, configuring monitoring and alerts, and performing capacity planning.
- Knowledge of Linux for DBAs, shell scripting, large data warehouse databases, Infrastructure-as-Code, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Azure DevOps for deployment automation and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Experience or understanding of Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Grafana.
- Experience handling incidents and service requests within SLA and collaborating effectively with customers and stakeholders.
- Strong ownership, accountability, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills in fast-paced environments.
- Nice-to-have experience with Snowflake, Azure Cloud, and SQL Server database administration.
