Base Salary
$94k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop web-based applications and cloud services using Angular, Java, Spring, and OpenShift.
- Build and maintain internal tools and platforms that improve developer productivity and engineering workflows.
- Design scalable, reliable, maintainable, and highly componentized enterprise applications.
- Develop front-end web interfaces with Angular and React.
- Implement improvements to platform technology solutions and provide leadership in research and design.
- Work with stakeholders in a collaborative environment and follow sound software development practices.
- Develop and deploy cloud-ready applications and deployment pipelines on container platform clusters.
- Use REST-based services, Kafka, databases, and SQL/PLSQL in enterprise applications.
- Write automated tests using JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, and RestAssured.
- Monitor, debug, tune, and optimize application and UI components using relevant monitoring tools.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience building enterprise-scale applications with Java, Spring Framework, and Docker containers.
- Experience with cloud-ready applications and deployment pipelines on large-scale container platform clusters is a plus.
- Knowledge of design patterns, coding standards, modularity, and prototypes.
- Experience with SOA, microservices, and REST.
- Experience with Kafka, relational databases, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Experience writing tests with JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, and RestAssured.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, Splunk, and ELK monitoring tools.
- Experience with Angular V8+, React, reactive programming, RxJS, TypeScript, SCSS, and HTML5.
- Understanding of Agile and Waterfall software development lifecycles.
- Experience debugging, tuning, and optimizing UI components.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
