Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of high-impact mobile workflows including dashboards, notifications, tasks, insights, banking improvements, and mobile subscriptions.
- Define squad product and platform goals while remaining hands-on in the code and unblocking engineers technically.
- Improve squad performance through goal clarity, barrier removal, mentoring, coaching, and inclusive team culture.
- Champion production-first operational excellence across availability, accuracy, security, scalability, incident response, and proactive health monitoring.
- Automate delivery pipelines, address recurring failure patterns, reduce technical waste, simplify designs, and use modern practices including AI to improve delivery efficiency.
Requirements
- Strong React Native expertise, or strong iOS expertise with Swift or Android expertise with Kotlin and willingness to grow within a React Native ecosystem.
- Solid experience with backend API integration and mobile backend development, including contributing to API design and implementation.
- Mastery of software design patterns, distributed architectures, and cloud infrastructure, with experience building robust mobile applications at scale.
- Ability to mentor and coach engineers, manage multiple workstreams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to provide technical judgment, define product and platform direction, and operate effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
