Responsibilities
- Configure, develop, test, deploy, and maintain IBM Maximo solutions and modules.
- Develop Maximo Automation Scripts using Python/Jython and configure applications, databases, workflows, security, escalations, cron tasks, and scheduled jobs.
- Develop and support Maximo Integration Framework integrations using Object Structures, Enterprise Services, Publish Channels, External Systems, Endpoints, Integration Controls, APIs, message queues, REST, JSON, XML, and file-based interfaces.
- Provide technical and functional application support, including incident triage, root-cause analysis, defect resolution, production monitoring, release support, and on-call or after-hours support when required.
- Participate in Agile delivery, requirements analysis, estimation, change control, release planning, deployment, production verification, and rollback planning.
- Prepare and execute functional, integration, regression, smoke, negative, end-to-end, and User Acceptance Testing, while maintaining traceable test evidence and defect records.
- Support GxP validation, data-integrity controls, audits, regulatory inspections, security reviews, access reviews, and technical-risk remediation.
- Create and maintain solution designs, deployment instructions, validation documents, troubleshooting documentation, knowledge articles, operational procedures, and support runbooks.
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, developers, QA, validation, infrastructure, integration, database, security, and external application teams.
- Contribute to cross-skilling, process automation, operational improvements, and strategic technology initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–9 years of relevant experience in application configuration, development, integration, testing, or production support.
- Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo configuration, development, integration, or application support, including Application Designer, Database Configuration, Automation Scripts, workflows, escalations, cron tasks, security groups, and data restrictions.
- Experience with Maximo Integration Framework components, REST APIs, web services, JSON, XML, file-based integrations, relational databases, and SQL.
- Understanding of functional, integration, regression, smoke, negative, end-to-end, and User Acceptance Testing, including test-case creation, execution, evidence documentation, and defect management.
- Understanding of GxP validation, change control, risk assessment, requirements traceability, test evidence, and controlled deployment.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum delivery, Jira, Azure DevOps, Git, source control, peer reviews, and CI/CD processes.
- Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, learning, and cross-skilling abilities.
- Preferred experience includes IBM Maximo Application Suite or Maximo Manage, advanced SQL, Java, JavaScript, MuleSoft, SAP or ERP integrations, SAP EAM or SAP Plant Maintenance, data platforms, reporting tools, API-testing tools, and relevant technical or validation certifications.
- Preferred exposure includes artificial intelligence, generative AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, Databricks, Azure Data Services, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau, and BIRT.
